Wolf raising pup trip

In May (the best time 1-20th of May) the guests will take a part in wolf pup searching that generally we do for studying on the wolf breeding. 12-16 day stay provides a chance to see and photograph a wolf den with pups. Also, you will face with a lot of track of wolf activities and denning by wolves. While ranging with vehicle and searching for wolf pups in the terrain, there is a great chance (about 90% during 14 days trip) to see a wolf. Also, to take pictures of wolves, guests may put camera traps at wolf pathways and frequent marking places, which we know well.  

In the period of mid-August to the end of October (September is the best time) the guests will take a part in locating of wolf litters (litter means pups from a given pack) by howling at night. Pups and even adult wolves answer quite easy this time of the year. The next morning we will visit the place, from where wolves howled, to see the site, where they stayed. In such a place the guests will see resting site, pathways and prey remains, scats etc. Gradually we will realize how many wolf families are present in whole Naliboki Forest. While ranging with vehicle and searching for places, where wolf pups stay) in the terrain, there is a good chance (about 70% during 10 days trip) to see a wolf. Also, to take pictures of wolves, guests may put camera traps at wolf pathways and frequent marking places, which we know well.  

Additionally, by the way a lot of vertebrate species may be observed, for instance, bisons, elks, otters, beavers, capercailyes, black cocks, cranes,  black storks etc. 

Visiting of broadleaved deciduous oldgrowth about three centuries old, wild  river valleys and marshlands, the guests will see how the primeval habitats of wolves looked in the area.
